Guest guest
Hi Zavie, Thank you for the information on pcr testing again. If I ask my dr. about the sensitivity of the test they use, what type of terminology should I expect in the answer? I want to be prepared to understand the answer. I'll ask if the test has changed also. When the nurse reported my result of 0.00045 for my recent test (after I was pcru for 1 1/2 yrs.) she felt it was just more or less " the luck of the draw " . Meaning that their professional opinion is that everyone is positive, but whether or not the draw finds anything is the sample itself. As long as the numbers are low they don't worry. I will watch for a trend, however. I smiled at your comment about staying at the lab with the least sensitivity if you want to be insured of the best result. in NY
