Guest guest
Hi Beth, You have the rash too!? Most times it doesn't bother me either, but if I get a " hot flash " (nother story - haha) it gets really red. Drinking ice cold water helps me the most. Except for my sensitive teethe, then it really hurts. Overall, I can't complain. my counts are stable. I had labs done today and my wbc is 3.1, hgt 9.5, and plts 181,000. Last week they were 196,000. Have a good weekend. I hope to squeeze my little granddaughter tomorrow. Yehhhhh. God's Blessings, Jackie S ________________________________ From: " bethgalliart@... It is so funny, I started two days after you and seem to follow you in side effects by a couple of days...The rash isn't too bad and as my boss said it makes me look " healthy " (whatever that means!). But it does feel like a mild sunburn. Beth [ ] nilotinib (tasigna) itch, rash hi all, i recently switched to nilotinib (tasigna), in an effort to get my pcr down to zero (had decent response on gleevec, but wanted something more aggressive to try to get down to zero). anyway, i started nilotinib about 7 days ago and have developed a rash on my face that looks like a moderate sunburn, as well as a really intense itch on my scalp. anyone have any tips for managing these side effects? they are not intolerable, but are quite annoying! any advice would be much appreciated. thanks, daniel
