Guest guest
Hi everyone, when I saw Dr. Talpaz Mon., I showed him my toes, the two large toes are red, and hurt when I wear socks. I have had a circulatory problem for years. i have a stent in the lower right leg, have had angioplasty done one the upper right the from the abdomen to the right thigh, and have a total occlusion of the left femoral artery. So I visited my vascular dr. today and even though I have had these tests a few years ago, I dont remember what they are. Carotid duplex Scan, Aortic Duplex Scan, Venous Duplex scan, right/left/ bilateral, arterial duplex scan - upper/;ower and PVR/pulse volume recording. OK this is what I don't remember, how do they do this? It is not a scan where I get put in one of those tubes is it? I don't remember them doing that. I am claustrophobic and like to be out in the open. I guess i should have asked the nurse, but I wanted out of there, a storm was brewing. So, any one know what this test is? My labs were good, the BMB/BMA went well and aside from the toes, it was a good appointment.
