WOW Cheryl  you are soooo smart!!

I have been doing all the things you suggested and my fatigue has gone down, WAY

down.  I never put together that all the water, veggies and fruit and exercise

is what did it!!!

Hey Neil, even though it was on accident on my part Cheryl is soooooo right:)

Blessings,

Jo-Dee

PS  I have lost 45 pounds since July 20, 2009.  That is a bonus also!!!

Hi Neal...I wanted to pass on some suggestions for fighting the

fatigue...I am on 800 mg/day of Gleevec and experiencing little or no

side-effects, but with that said my Onc. said that is most likely because of the

amount of water I am drinking each day...I drink 10-12 glasses of water minimum

and while it does contribute to my low potassium level, she gives me a

supplement for that...I have also started eating more fruits and veggies rather

than the carbs I craved before...I would also suggest adding some exercise to

your day - thismay sound counter-productive, but it really has helped me...I am

walking 35 minutes per day on a treadmill, but walking outside would be just as

good if you live somewhere where the weather is co-operative right now..I would

also suggest at least 1000 mg of vitamin D each day - hope these are helpful - I

will be thinking of you and hoping you can get this fatigue under control.
