Guest guest
I started on 800 mg of Tasigna per day but my Lipase levels became elevated so I was switched to 600 mg per day and I am doing just fine. That was over a year ago.  ________________________________ From: Barbara Hundley <barbdig@...> " " < > Sent: Wed, February 3, 2010 9:47:12 AM Subject: [ ] Tasigna dose  Would someone share with me the dosage they are taking of the Tasigna. I have been pcru with Gleevec but the fatigue was making life worthless so they switched me to Tasigna 800 mg a day. I was on 400 mg Gleevec. Is the 800 a normal dosage? Guest guest
Hi Barbara, I have been on the 400mg twice a day since August 2008, which is the recommended dose. I would love to drop back to once a day as it is very restrictive with the fasting in the afternoon and I've been PCRU since Dec 2008 and my current levels are 0.000%. The worse problem I find with Tasigna is the insomnia - I was always a night owl, but now I can be wired still at 1-2am or later and then awake at 7am, so I'm constantly sleep deprived. Guest guest
I am on 600mg and abt a year ago my Lipase level was high, but the next time is was normal. Stayed on 600. Now it is a year later and my Lipase is up again. I will have to do it again in a month. My Dr. says the Tasigna has a tendency to show a false reading. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Sent: Wednesday, February 03, 2010 11:25 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Tasigna dose I started on 800 mg of Tasigna per day but my Lipase levels became elevated so I was switched to 600 mg per day and I am doing just fine.
