Hi guys! Mark had his first subQ Thursday and it went very smooth. He

was pretty anxious & upset about the whole thing, but I think most of

it was from being in the hospital that has a lot of bad memories for

him. I'm trusting he will be much less anxious when we do it in our

home this week with our regular nurse. They used 3 sites on him (which

I thought was maybe a lot for a 45lb 7 yr old?), and he had hardly any

swelling.

However, yesterday he developed the big D and had quite a few bouts

with it, although he was otherwise fine. I am wondering if you've

experienced this with Viva? At this point I am not sure if it could be

the Viva or just plain nerves. Like I said, he was pretty anxious.

Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks! mom to Mark 7 CVID
