Hi Terry. I want to see your pics, but I don't know where to go to see them.

:( . Yesterday, I was able to get to this groups' pic area because

someone (I think it was Tatzei) put the link. I thought I had saved the link,

but apparenlty not. Now that you've got the hang of it, I can't find it -

lol.

I'm so sorry you're having bad headaches. I've never had to battle that

(or any chronic pain) but know those who have. I'll surely be keeping you in my

prayers and good thoughts.

Can someone help? (sorry I'm puter dumb) -- but where does one go to see

pics ? ?

Hang in there, Terry.

Go to Hepatitis C. There will be a list

on the left side. Choose photos, and when it comes up, my folder is Terry.

Go to www.

click on our group name in your list of groups you have joined (usually the list

is on the left side of the group page when you log in) (unless like me and

have joined a million groups lol).

then when you are on the GI World website

Hepatitis C

there is a menu on the left and one says PHOTOS

http://photos./group/Hepatitis C/lst

Then go to TERRY's folder and voila! There's his wonderful pix!

Way to go Terry! (would you like me to turn them around for you?) You are really

talented! And that's your home? Very nice! I love the country (long as I don't

have to WORK on a farm! did that as a kid, ARG, and watching Colonial House on

PBS (www.pbs.org if you don't know what I'm talking about) reminds me way too

much of my childhood, and now ya know why I'm sooo lazy as an adult! haha). Are

those your horses? Great pix!

Sorry, when I tried this myself, a page came up I had not seen before.

Choose group discussions at the bottom, then on the next page, URL to this

group, then choose photos, and my folder. Terry

Hi Alley,

They are our horses, and quite a handful, especially when one of us is

sick. We are really getting too old, but , my husband loves it, so what

can you do? I can't take this away from him, and he doesn't ask me for too

much help anymore. I just can't do much of the work. If they need turning

around, please do so. Thanks, Terry

Hi Terry! I found them! Ahhhh...... I don't know which picture I looked at

the longest and like the most :) :). ALL of them! Your horses and foals

are breath-taking beauties! They are the sleek, magestic, awesome, muscular

beauties that take me back in time and remind me of the horses I was priviledged

to help take care of in Kentucky. Storm Day is just out of this world !

What a beauty he is! Before I ventured to Kentucky, I worked (or rather went

to " horse school " ) on an Arabian horse farm in NC (Sitting Rock Arabian

Horse Farm). I was only about 16 yrs old, and one of my jobs was to tease the

mares each morning (walk that stallion up and down four, 50 stall barns and let

him visit the mares at their stalls - LOL). I can still remember how excited

that stallion would get and all the noises and raucous he would make as we

walked down each side of each barn! And then we would take the mare scheduled

to

be bred that morning to a stadium-like arena, and the first time I ever

participated in " breeding " , I thought for certain I was going to get KILLED -

LOL

(the mare wasn't cooperating, and I had to put the nose twitch on and hold

her chest up against the wall while that stallion (on lead, of course, by the

breeder and trainer) came charging towards the mare. Oh -- that mare was NOT

happy at all, but -- that was the job that had to be done that day. I finally

stopped shaking like a leaf when it was over with (and it didn't take long -

lol)! After about two weeks there, I wound up not liking that place very

much. The horses, while they were well-taken care of, stayed in their stalls.

When they were exercised (daily), it was on the mechanical wheel, and --

well, that just didn't appeal to me. I did get to see two births while I was

there, though, which was an experience I wouldn't trade for the world. From

there, I took off to Kentucky to get a taste of the horse I would come to love

and cherish (and the best there is), the thoroughbred. That was sooooo

long ago, but it sometimes seems like yesterday.

You are very fortunate and blessed, Terry, to have such beauty surrounding

you. I can't imagine how you manage to up-keep such a beautiful home and

grounds and horses, and I know (even when one is " well " and feeling good) that

it's an extremely difficult and tiring job. It's nonstop, hard work. If I were

close by, I'd come and help for FREE! lol.

Your child and the Angel sculpture you made are are the most beautiful of all

pics.

Thank you so much for sharing your world with us. I enjoyed that very much

with my a.m. coffee, and I hope you let us know when you add more pics.

You keep hanging in there. I hope your headaches will stay at bay today,

and if not -- I hope the OTC meds will help out.

LOL Alley! Thanks for the instructions! When I was first diagnosed last

year and started plugging away on the computer and learning about the www and

found out there was " Hep C support groups on-line " , there's no telling HOW

many groups I joined. Sometimes I just get " lost " out there! Even though I

don't participate much anymore in any group, I have enjoyed this group a lot.

Have a great day.

Alley,

For the last two years, I have been seeing first one neurologist and

then another. I have been on many classes of medications, including

oxycontin. I either had side effects that made me sicker or the drug didn't

help. It took me two terrible weeks of withdrawals to get off the oxy and

now I am afraid to take anything prescribed for pain. Today has been

better. I used to have the headaches constantly. Now they seem to come for

three days and then ease up. Hope you find the pictures. Terry

I'm really sorry your headaches are returning...sure wish I had some advise for

you. But being so sensitive to drugs, you are wise to stay away from them...

(Boy, I'm glad I don't have that problem!)

Tatezi,

Yesterday and today, I have no headache. I had a really bad one for

four days. Maybe they will come and go and eventually disappear instead of

being so constant. I am finished pouring chemicals into my body. I have

been wondering if the chemicals in the hair tint I use, and have been using

for 45 years have anything to do with it. It never caused headaches before

treatment, but obviously something has changed in my head, and when I tinted

my hair last week, my headache got worse. What do you think? Terry

Dear Terry,

Yours is not the only horror story I've heard about oxy. Whoever came up

with that one, needs a brain transplant, or maybe a long duration of your

headaches. Anne

With the way you react to drugs, hair dye, which is toxic, could very well

contribute to your headaches. I don't recall your liver damage level, but we

always have to remember that everything we eat, breathe, touch, use on our

bodies ultimately ends up in our liver for processing.
