Guest guest
So. we found two more dead birds in our yard! One adult and one young.. that is 7 total. The dog neighbors were out and I yelled over to ask if they had seen any dead birds and he says, " Yeah, we've had a bunch of them. " Our next door neighbors have not found any... This is just really odd. It's like they are just dropping dead out of the sky.. If this is pesticide or insecticide related..kind of creepy thinking about what these chemicals are doing to us and who is using them and why is it that we've never had a year like this. The dog neighbors did not seem concerned at all. Weird stuff. I took a picture of the one dead bird (adult)--- why? I don't know. he's in good condition as in not chewed or anything--- weird. Peace be with you, Pattie If things go well let's rejoice, blessing God, who makes them prosper. And if they go wrong? Let's rejoice, blessing God, who allows us to share in the sweetness of His Cross.-- St maria Escriva
Guest guest
Pattie, This may sound like a horrible question...but do you think one of your neighbors could be intentionally poisioning them? I have lived in Texas all my life and know it is pretty customary in some areas around here for people who are getting annonyed with an over abundance of wildlife to start poisioning them. Are they all the same type of bird or several different kinds? I know there are things that can be used to poision birds because people have been known to use it in the cities around here to kill the grackles when we get thousands of them in at once. Just a thought. I hope you figure it out! It would have me pretty concerned too! Becki > > So. we found two more dead birds in our yard! One adult and one young.. > that is 7 total. Guest guest
This thought occurred to me... I talked with our neighbors at the other end of the street and they do not have any dead birds... our next door neighbors on both sides do not have dead birds. When I spoke to the guy right behind us, he said he had a bunch but was not the least bit concerned. Our neighbors (other than this guy who is kind of rough) have all been concerned.so it seems weird that he just blew it off when everyone else seems to think it is VERY strange and is VERY concerned. Peace be with you, Pattie Understanding is the reward of faith. Therefore, don't seek to understand so that you may believe, but believe so that you may understand. -- St Augustine Pattie, This may sound like a horrible question...but do you think one of your neighbors could be intentionally poisioning them?
