Guest guest
--- Im trying to not panic......thanks for all the suggestions. At the moment, I feel like bundling my kids up and making them live in the driveway in our travel trailer! I dont think SSA will help pay.......I was thinking our caseworker may have an idea about any community resources/programs. When our roof was coming apart, we were able to find a community program that really helped offset the cost......but nobody had ever heard of it, we stumbled upon it, by calling, and calling, and calling....so thats my plan with this....if I call enough people, someones got to know something! I was able to speak with our pulmonary nurse today, she was calling about my daughter, who is sick with an asthma flare, and she said she's had some other families who went thru this....one had to move out for 9 months! but she said she would dig thru anything the hospital social workers have, and call me back with any info. I called another company that does mold removal, and spoke with a guy there. He said first to call our house ins and tell them we have a leak.....which IS true......then the mold may fall under water damage, and they will pay a portion of it. So I feel a bit better that I ahve a little info. I was so startled last night, I about cried. These companiies just act like that much money, I shoudl have it in my jeans pocket, you know? like, and oh hey, that'll be FIFTEEN GRAND, thanks, like anyone just has that laying around, you know? and my kid just called from school and needs a nebulizer treatment, so I gotta run that up to her. thanks, everyone! valarie In , " " <asolomon1@...> wrote: > > Another thought..
