Guest guest
And then I guess when you're done fasting, you'll gradually add back foods, but not ones that are candida-inducing? Although I feel fine now, and especially energetic in the last week or so, I still have a stubborn little bit of coating at the back of my tongue... it makes me annoyed, so I was thinking of doing a fast to try and make it clear once and for all. I haven't been taking antifungals anymore, mainly because I'm low on cash, but I might get some for when I decide to try doing a fast. Just some thoughts I'm throwing around... Guest guest
I didn't use an enema and yes they just came out on their own. Literally, at one point. I wasn't even on the toilet - it just sort of slid out. I think you're inspiring me to do it again and combine it with enemas. When I did it, I used the vegetable juice as he prescribed but with slightly less carrots and I added in juicing lettuce along with it. I also got all of the herb teas that he suggests drinking on the fast. Like Sage, Lemon Balm, St. 's Wort, Mint, Cranesbill, etc. Even though I'm not doing his fast now, I still drink his " sage " tea every day. In his book, he talks about how beneficial Sage is for every gland in the body and how the Romans used to say Sage would keep everything away. That sort of sold me on sage. So I like to drink it every day if I can.. Do you live near a health food store or a Whole Foods? They usually always carry celery root. Black Radish is a little hard to find (in my city, Whole Foods doesn't have it but our food co-op does). (plus having to cook for the kids doesn't make it any easier) as far as the yeast goes it looked like a huge clump of gelatinous gravy. at first I did not know what it was, but when I went to rinse the sive out in the toilet bowl, they came loose, and then I knew. They were all dark yellow, but I think that is due to the coffee staining the yeast. I am still waiting for something funny to come out, like your florescent worms. Did you use an enema? Or did they come out on their own? Also, I am not following Bruesses fast to a tee, since I cant find half of the veggies. I am really using super greens, but I did get the idea from reading his book, and he is the one that mentioned wormwood tea for upset stomach and headaches. And it really works! Guest guest
wow, that's great that you're getting all that STUFF out. Just in my experience, the sage tea has never upset my stomach. Peppermint is also an ingredient in his mixture so that helps maintain stomach " happiness " . Hence I decided against going the juicing route. Don't want to contaminate myself with non organic foods while I am cleansing. And yes I also have the sage tea, but I was saving it for after the fast. Maybe I will incorporate it. I am just so afraid to try new things and upset my stomach right now. Nothing worse then feeling nauseous and not being able to eat anything to settle it! And the worm thing is great! I am always curious to see what is really hanging out in my bowels. Probably a parasite party going on in there. I have managed to get some really old compacted feces out with my enemas also, and that makes me feel like I am accomplishing something. Though they say it takes 30 to 40 days to really clean out the colon. Don't see me fasting that long unless I am at a retreat/spa somewhere were everyone else is fasting also! I will keep you all posted as to what happens! Hanida
Guest guest
Wow Hanida! Congrats on your succes! What did you drink on the fast? Please let us know, Thanks skylah hspl28@... wrote:Hi everyone, Well I just wanted to let you all know what I am up to. I started a 7 day fast 4 days ago, and today I passed a handful of yeast! I am so happy. Hungry but happy. I decided after reading Dr. Brusses book that fasting would benefit my organs and hopefully help with my candida. my mother did his 30 day fast for cancer, and she got rid of all her yeast also. 30 days was a bit steep for me, since I still have to cook three meals for my kids, so I read about doing a 7 day fast. Boy do I feel great. my organs feel so much better, no allergies, and no food allergies who knows what will happen when I start eating food again, but for now I am feeling great! (better then I have felt in years) Oh, I am taking Pau'darco, and olive leaf extract also, which I started taking with the fast. I think that has helped kill off the yeast. And I am doing daily organic coffee enema's to help get rid of colon build up. Definitely works! I will let you all know what happens after the fast is over! After the fast I will eat only raw fruit (a grapefruit) and veggies for two days, then start eating my regular candida diet again. Guest guest
Hanida... I also did the fasting thing for awhile..And i also felt better then ever... Its amazing how much pressure our livers are under everyday because of all the toxic foods we eat .. I would only drink alot of water everyday...and would have a bowl of oat bran 3 times a day to get the bowels moving.. I felt totally cured.. But then the desire to have those yummy foods were overwelming... So i went back to eating like crazy... and screwed everything up.. Now i'm back to feeling crappy again.. But i'm thinking about fasting again..I just ordered this book from amazon...sounds very interesting : http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0884197603/qid=1047610896/sr=1 -1/ref=sr_1_1/102-9304314-9044113?v=glance & s=books

Now I am doing a fast, and that combined with Pau D'arco and olive leaf extract is why it is all comming out. as far as what it looks like, it is kind of hard to describe. some of it looks like long strands of mucus, and some looks like little sheets of floating tiolet paper. they are all stringy though. I was going to order it, but my Mom had an equivalent sold by innerlight called supper greens. She gave it to me since she can not take it. it reacts badly with some people. not me though. it had many of the same properties as Basic plus, so I tried it, and it has worked for me. you can look at the stuff at www.innerlightinc.com. but if you do think about purchasing it, you have to get the pH primer with it, since the water must be primed before the supergreens can go in. It sure has made me feel better. my Natural Healing book recommends doing a three day fast every time you feel " crappy " due to food you eat, and doing the drastic 10 - 30 day fasts once or twice a year. I am considering doing the three day once a month just to clean out the gunk, since I know I will eventually eat something that will strain my system. I am allergic to them, but if I vacuum often they don't really bother me. Well, I have not vacuumed in a week, and have not noticed my usual headache and stuffed up nose symptoms.
