Guest guest
Dear Cheryl, Even in your darkest moments, you are cheering us up. I have never run across anyone who had as many setbacks before even getting a BMT. You mentioned dark places. Yes, there are a lot of dark places to go to with CML, but it is much better to put our faces to the sunshine and to try to use everything at our disposal to enjoy our lives. We have CML in common, but we are all different, each requiring different means of finding a safer place to be and certainly different circumstances and such different outcomes. Some have more difficult roads to travel and have become such inspirations to all of us. I think you have already found that this is a most caring group, whether we are talking about eye bleeds, diarrhea or a secondary cancer. It is a cause for someone to spring into action with their eagerness to share their own experience. Even if you choose to stay with a BMT group, you will always have a special place in our hearts. Hands & hearts, Lottie Duthu
Guest guest
Thank you Lottie for your kind words...as I said before, you are truly an inspiration...I'm lurking here several times a day looking for information that is useful to me and putting my two cents in when I feel I can make a difference...everyone here has been nothing but wonderful to me...the BMT group has different things and insight to offer and right now, with that looming, is somewhere I need to be as well...I will keep you all updated as I can and I know that you are all routing for me as well... tomorrow I have my ablation to get rid of the nasty periods that require 10 units of blood each time I have one - they have found that I have a heart murmur in amongst all the testing I've been having so I'm hoping that doesnt prove problematic... Blessings to all - especially Bob with his new struggle with an " old enemy - interfuron " Cheryl > > Dear Cheryl, > Even in your darkest moments, you are cheering us up.
