Guest guest
Hi All, I've been reading all the bone & joint pain posts and it seems no one noticed my earlier post about how I solved my bone pain problem on 800 mg Gleevec with Ativan. It is a tranquilizer but it DOES work for bone pain in a fairly low dose. It is not addictive. I never had any problems at all with it. I only had to take an Ativan IV once when the pain was literally unbearable. Other than that I just took tabs as needed. Also, instead of those old stand-bys Tylenol and Ibuprofen which some of you are hesitant to take, I recommend Aleve. I have some pain now because of a bone marrow test gone bad seveal years ago. I take two Aleve in the morning and two at night and don't have any pain at all. I wouldn't make these recommendations if they didn't work for me. \ Virginia
