Previously when Tristen would get sick, I would take her to the pedi as soon

as possible before things got out of hand. Her sinus infections would go

from no symptoms one day…to full blown infection a day later. Now that

she’s been on SubQ, she seems to be doing better and actually had her first

cold a few weeks ago. She’s on prophylactic Septra once a day, but when she

was getting sick a few weeks ago, her pedi put her on Septra twice a day

while she was symptomatic, just to be cautious and make sure she didn’t get

an infection. She’s been on Septra once a day now for 3 weeks and has

symptoms of a cold/infection, and I’m not sure if I should still take her

into the pedi or ride it out. When do you know it’s time to take them to

the dr and when it’s okay to just let them be? Being that this would only

be her second cold ever….I’m still trying to figure this out, I know how to

deal with infections, but colds is another story. Lol

Sorry for all the questions…I’ll learning as we go.
