Hi:  Interferon is a very good question.  I would like to know how long people

were on it before they switched to a new drug.  I started Interferon in Dec. of

98, but had to stop in April.  I only did Interferon with the Ara-C every other

week until it was destroying my liver.

    We are just having a quiet Christmas Eve.  Just finished eating, and

thought I would get on to see who is still posting.

Dear Bobby,

Did you ever stop to think that maybe we are still alive because of Inteferon? I

spoke to Dr. Talpaz about that when I saw him in New Orleans. I think the

thought is now that those of us who were on Inteferon had a greater chance of

surviving long term. He also said he had patients who lived longer than us. I'd

like to meet them, wouldn't you?

Be careful driving to New York, you know, when you put the pedal to the metal?

Hope you have a merry Christmas, all of you. My grandson just called and said to

go over, I guess they are having one of their famous parties. It's going to be a

packed house, everyone has to bring their friend. How dysfunctional when you

need to have a friend to talk to instead of interacting with your family. My

kids used to count all of their cousins and couldn't wait to get together with

them. I don't remember them ever getting into a tussle, because they knew they

were cousins and they would have to pay the piper. Now I had some cousins I

liked better than others, but we always got along, there was no alternative.

I have a feeling, Bobby, that we would have gotten along very well, we think

along the same lines and appreciate family. I would have never gotten mad,

picked up my marbles and gone back home. LOL
