Guest guest
Dear Jackie, I am so glad to hear your good news. It's been a long wait for you, too. I still remember the first time I saw you, standing in the waiting room of the leukemia department. You brought us to your apartment once to show us how nice it was. I think you must have stayed in several apartments, just as we did. I remember waiting for the shuttle bus and wondered why I needed to carry a bunch of empty bottles, so I left them in the garbage. The research nurse was in shock when I told her I didn't have them. She wanted me to go back to the apartment to get them. I told her the garbage had already been picked up. She said, " What will I tell Bristol Myers? " I said, " You'll think of something. " No one ever mentioned it again. I haven't figured out a real good reason why they need the empty bottles, are they suddenly going green? Merry Christmas, friend from the north country, Lottie
