Anyone ever been prescribed oral steroids for their kiddos sinus

infection? I took Reagon to pulmo week before last and her PFT's were

down due to her head being all stopped up and cruddy. Her dr. put her

on 20 mg X2 day of prednisone for 3 days and then 20 mg once aday for 2

days and Omnicef. She was doing great for 5 days on steroids and first

3 days off of them...now she is starting to get wet cough again and

nose flaring when she's running around. She is still on the Omnicef

and seems to feel fine...just having asthma like symptoms agian. As is

the story of my life...the drs. office is closed for Thanksgiving. I

guess I shouldn't worry since she is running around and feels

good...just wondering if maybe she needed a longer burst of steroids??

She has only had one mild sinus infection before, so the sinus issues

are new to us and I don't know what the norm on treatment is for them.
