Guest guest
Thanks you Lottie ! My history begins in 2005, when I diagnosed with a testicular cancer, then I did a surgery and in 05/2006 I had metastases in lungs about this testicular cancer. I started chemotherapy for 2 months and I am cured. Unfortunately, in 05/2008, during the follow-up consultations my white count was in 15.000, one month later grow up to 24.000, then I did the bone marrow tests and the CML was confirm. One month later I started on 400 mg Gleevec, and stay it until today. After 12 months I achieved 3 log and after 19 months 4,39 log !!! I so happy, and thank GOD every day for a second chance to live. We are looking forward to a long and happy correspondence with you. If you have any questions, there are many here who are capable of answering them. Please keep us abrest of your progress; there are many of us who have been posting for a long time and are " old hands " , as the saying goes. Please tell us more about your country and your treatment. And to Claude, I guess we shook your tree a bit there; you didn't expect the many responses you received, but I'm glad you took it well and are willing to listen to the voices of reason in this instance. There is a lot of incorrect information on the internet and we sometimes have to take it with a grain of salt, until we know the science behind the statement, so we are cautious about misinformation for the good of everyone concerned. It's been a long process of learning, listening and reading, we didn't " get here " overnight and we are still learning. Hands & hearts, Lottie Duthu
