Guest guest
Dr N had mentioned this study to me 6 months ago - before it was published. The patients didn't know that the bottles had the micro-chips in their lids. I think it was a good idea; he says that this type of study would never be allowed in France because the patients would kick up a fuss about being spied upon!! best wishes, Barbara > > Dear , > Thanks for your input on the " special bottle " . Sort of like an ankle bracelet they put on prisoners to keep track of them. LOL I like that idea very much and it will certainly be a reminder if we tend to forget. I posted the article because I know we have members from the UK and it is only fair to include rearch from the UK as well as the US. > > We need to be more regimented and take our meds on time. It's like feeding the parking meter. We know what happens if we don't feed the kitty, there is a high price to pay. So if we are not taking our meds when we are supposed to, it could be making a difference in our progress. In some cases, it could be a cause for bouncing PCR's or a relapse. We are adults here and we know what we are supposed to do. If we are forgetful, we need to find a way to remind ourselves, like setting an alarm clock. when I was on BMS trial, I used to set my alarm clock for 5:00 a.m., take my pills and go back to bed, so I could have my breakfast with my family. To each his own, someone may have a better idea they can share. One for all and all for one, remember when we learned that in grammer school? I've always thought that was a good lesson we learned and it has served us throughout our lives. In the case of the pill taking, I think of putting myself first. > > Best of luck to you in the UK, > Lottie Duthu > >
