Guest guest
Thank you GaLe I checked med side and I got scared as I have developed a heart condition called right block bundle branch which has no treatment but need to be monitored. My dr. Have not call me yet to agree for switching so I am giving my self time to think it over. Thanks again for all responses. There is a heart warning for QT prolongation, and it says to take Tasigna on an empty stomach, rather that with food, like Gleevec. - gale
Guest guest
I would like to suggest that you have a good, long conversation with your doctor before switching. If Gleevec is working for you, that is if it is keeping your CML suppressed, then you might be better off just learning to live with the side effects. Most of the minor side effects do go away after time. I do understand that it is a very personal decision, that's why I'm suggesting asking you doctor to spell out the pros and cons of switching. Guest guest
Thank you for your advice, I noticed that we both got diagnosed around same time 2/03. Three more years to celebrate 10 years milestone.
