Guest guest
As you start your 12th year with CML, , here's to your continued existence and good health. Sue is one of our cheerleeders who stays in the background until she sees someone who needs a little pep talk. Telling her story to newcomers is 's way of contributing to the group, and how it is needed cannot be disputed. Here you can be part of a group who assemble via cyberspace to become comrades. I call it being a number, or you can get a number from our High Priest, Zavie when we have reached a certain level we consider safe ground. Phew, what a relief to be here. After that, the sky's the limit. Sue has gotten her PCRU the hard way, she worked for it. LOL Viva Sue, we missed you. xoxox my friend, Lottie Duthu
Guest guest
Hi Lottie: You are so sweet, and you have a way with words. You know how to upllift all of us when we do not have answers for ourselves or answers to give someone else. I can still remember the day that I was told I had Leukemia, as I am sure everyone on here can remember the day they were told. Its very hard on all the newcomers. They do not know what to expect, and I hope all our responses help them to know that CML is not like it was years ago. There are so many breakthroughs for all the people who are just being diagnosed now. You can live life to the fullest, even with the side effects that some of us get with whatever medication we are taking. I look at Skip with his 30 plus years, and others who have had CML for years and did not reach PCRU, but they are still going strong.     I started my 12th year on Dec. 12 of 2009, and I hope to see others look back and see where they have been and where they are going. I am into my 3rd month of my 12th year, and plan on starting my 13th year in Dec. of 2010 God Bless Everyone Here A.
