When you go against that little voice...

I pulled dd out of school about a week ago after she's brought home the

stomach flue that kept her out for almost 2 weeks. I let her go back for a

half day on Thursday and then Friday to say good bye to her friends. That

little voice said " dont " but I figured I was being over protective and still

reeling from the stomach flu that knocked me on my butt. Couple days later

she started coming down with something else, were on day 4-5 now and poor

thing is miserable and its set her asthma off. Pulmo pulled her off her meds

this year to see what happens this winter since she hadn't had an asthma

attack in ages. She's in a flare now and we have no meds beyond the xopenex

I stock piled while we had insurance that covered it. Pedi can't see her

until tomorrow either:( I'll take her to the ER if things get bad but she's

just so miserable:( I think its safe to say we will be homeschooling another

couple of years before we even think of public school again. Up on the

upside CAVA/K12 has been working well for us this week:)
