I was diagnosed in 1992, had the bmt on March 26th 1993, 2 days before my 41st birthday and relapsed in 2004. So this weekend I am celebrating LIFE with my family, husband, 4 children with 4 partners now and 5 grandchildren. I've been in hospital for the past few days with a prolapsed disc in my neck. It is resolving so I am home and pain free tonight, so this weekend is going to be great. judy Telford

Guest guest
Congratulations Judy! It looks like March madness has hit board with all the anniversaries and veteran posts. Isn't it great to spoil the grandkids and then give em back to mom and dad? hahaha! Enjoy. -gale
Guest guest
Judy, I has been a long journey that has turned out well. You are working on your second 10 year anniversary and let's hope this one leads to a second cure. Hope you can get back golfing soon. Take care, M > > I dont post often but I have something to celebrate tomorrow. tomorrow it will be 17 years since my bone marrow transplant. Guest guest
Hi Judy: You have had a long journey like some others, and have done well. Have a great weekend celebration. What are you taking now for the CML? I got a bit lost in the messages somehow. You said you relapsed after your BMT, and I was wondering if you take Gleevec or any of the other meds that are now available. Your story is a real inspiration to all of us. Guest guest
Hi I'm afraid Golf is on hold at the moment while we sort out this back problem, but the neurosurgeon promises me that I will get back to it. I just have to have patience. How are you, are you able to play again. I've missed catching up on the chat group, I'll tune in next week seeing I won't be playing golf. thanks for the good wishes Judy T > > > > I dont post often but I have something to celebrate tomorrow. tomorrow it will be 17 years since my bone marrow transplant.
