Guest guest
I too have hip problems -- left hip where I got a really bad bone marrow test. I take Aleve twice a day -- 2 pills in the morning and two at bedtime. It keeps me practically pain-free and without it the pain is very bad. Aleve is naproxin -- not ibuprofen OR Tylenol. L [ ] Hip Problems Hi Bobby: Odd that you should mention that hip problem. I do have Arthritis, and my left knee is very bad. Past few weeks I am having pain in the left hip, and it goes around into the back of my legs. I also have it in the groin. I have trouble getting up in the morning or from a sitting position. Then if I can walk finally, I can get a little relief. Not sleeping good either. I am on my Gleevec, and I do not take Tylenol as they told me. Then I have kidney problems, and was told no Advil (Ibuprofen). I take nothing at all for the pain. I just suffer with it. Everything locks up on me until I get moving. This is good to for everyone to share these things. Guest guest
That is strange, Dr. Talpaz told me to take Aleve, not tylenon for arthritis, but Aleve does nothing for me, and the Tylenol does. Right now I am on Tramadol, it makes you feel like you are filled with lead, can't move, want to sleep, but sure don't feel pain., I will wait til I go to bed to take the next dose. Guest guest
Hi Bobby: I will have to check out the Tramadol. Naprosyn is Naproxen. I took Naprosyn many years ago for Arthritis Pain, and had a anaphylactic reaction. I just happened to work in a doctors office, and they attended to me immediately. I am really afraid to take anything with all the problems I have. Guest guest
I am taking the tramadol for a particular problem, not arthritis. He said it is the muscle behind the gluteous maxis ( do not know how to spell those words), and I am in great pain because of it. I take tylenol for arthritis for arthritis, but not often as my dr. does not like it, he prefers Aleve, which does not to too much for me. Bobby a ( Bobby ) Doyle, dob 12/17/29 Brecksville, Ohio, USA DX 5/1995 Interferon 9 weeks/Hydroxyurea 5 years 02/2000 to 06/2002 Gleevec trial, OHSU 06/2002 Gleevec/Trisenox Trial, OHSU 06/2003 Gleevec/Zarnestra Trial, OHSU 04/2004 Sprycel Trial, MDACC, CCR in 10 months 04/2008 XL228 Trial, U of Mich. 01/2009 PCR 5.69 04/2009 Ariad Trial AP24534 09/2009 PCR 0.017 11/2009 PCR 0.034 #840 Zavie's Zero Club From: seloew12 <seloew12cox (DOT) net> Subject: Re: [ ] Hip Problems- A and Bobby groups (DOT) com Date: Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 6:55 PM  I too have hip problems -- left hip where I got a really bad bone marrow test.
