Guest guest Posted December 27, 2008 Report Share Posted December 27, 2008 This is so irritating!! Everyone in our family knows of our childrens PIDD's. We have four asthmatic kids, three of those with CVID. Everyone knows to check in with me before a family gathering if someone in their household is sick. So.......we went to my parents house for Christmas, as usual. AFTER we come in and give hugs all the way around the family......AFTER we sit together to eat.......AFTER we all hand out gifts and give, again, hugs for those received.....my brother tells me his wife has been puking all day, and having diarrhea, and he had it the day before. WHY??? why would anyone go to a family Christmas puking? esp when you know your sisters kids have CVID? It just blows my mind they wouldnt think to call and let me know they had this, and that they were still coming, I would have stayed home!! Now Ive got one puking kid, and very likely the other three will catch it, and we'll be home puking, or at the hospital puking, for all of the kids winter break.
