Dearest Lottie,

You truly are wind beneath my wings...along with so many of you in our

community. Let me say this first; this work (formerly Carolyn's Hope) is about

US, not me, or Carolyn, or my family. It is much bigger than any of us could

have ever imagined.

I have been working silently behind the scenes to make sure a lot of the

infrastructure was in place first, before " letting the cat out of the bag " so to

speak! ;-) I will be sharing with our list owners all the details of the work,

prior to our big announcements, but here's a sneak peek into where things are

heading....

First off, to clarify - this work does NOT compete, replace, or circumvent

ANYTHING that we have here on , the Asian CML List, Jerry's list, etc.

Rather, think of it as a place where we can take the many things we discuss all

across the community and send it into the streets (ground-based). It is simply

a conduit that can be used to bring all of the wonderful things we talk about

right down to the neighborhoods in which we live. The services are focused and

provided SOLELY for our CML community. Made up by CML families. Over the past

two years, I suppose you could say I have been a CML miner, digging up as much

information as possible and making as many contacts into the world of all things

Social Security, Patient Assistance, etc. We have lots of great CML " issues "

related stuff on the boards here, so I've focused a lot on establishing contacts

within the agencies that we all have to work with and navigate through in order

to find assistance. Of course, we will continue to add to our CML Educational

information too!

We are also recognized by the IRS as a 501©(3) non-profit organization so any

contributions/bequests, etc are tax deductible and go right back into providing

these services to our community.

Some has said, " why are you still here " . Meaning, why are you still active in

the CML community since Carolyn is gone. Well, it's hard to pu into words, but

I have a deep, deep LOVE AND RESPECT for each one of you. I hope that everyone

will " understand my heart " on this and that it is motivated by the love of and

for this community and nothing more.

I suppose with the messages of the past 24 hours that the " cat is indeed OUT OF

THE BAG " lol!

My DEEPEST thanks to each one of you that have talked to me personally and

privately about what you would like to see in a ground-based work. I hope that

you will feel free to browse the site (it's not in its final version so overlook

my " webwork " ), take a look at the services we hope to provide, and let me know

how we can get you plugged in!

Before I post the link, I want to chat a tiny bit with our moderators so Lottie,

feel free to share that link or you can email me. After I've talked to T & Z,
