Guest guest
Hi what is a good supplement or mineral to use for GAS... Hi This is an answer I had saved from Devin Houston a while back in answer to a similar question. " Gas can be sign of food fermentation, and usually means that more enzyme is needed. If high doses of ZP [Zyme Prime]don't help within 4 days of use, then something else may be going on. " Devin

The gas can be from food intolerance [try enzymes or removing foods] or yeast overgrowth [try increasing your yeast protocol]. Dana

Guest guest
> > thanks for all feedback so far; another question > > i recently had a total sugar binge/diet transgression - the first in years - i ate two bowls of golden grahams with full milk - seriously haven't had milk in 3 years at least - so i have rather ridiculous gas, which smells terrible - but the interesting thing is that on my previous diet, including sometimes while taking inulin, any time i had any gas i would get terrible brainfog, red eyes, etc until the gas was passed - but the gas associated with the dairy is not causing that problem at all - i am a bit perplexed - is it a matter of different toxins associated with fermentation? and why would the healthy diet produce gas that messed up my head vs the less healthy gas associated with the dairy? this stuff makes my head spin, literally and figuratively ==>Spencer, when candida is being killed off, and also when it is overgrowing, it puts out carbon dioxide (gas) along with over 78 other kinds of toxins. What you are experiencing in your eyes, head, etc. is candida toxins, not gas. Gas causes the horrible smell and bloating, burping, etc. Your binge made the candida overgrow! Guest guest
I have to take it with bread products. not just a big meal. Cereal works well for me, but only certain ones - mini wheats, or Honey bunches of Oats. Good luck, Tammy _____ From: Jo-Dee McKibben [mailto:tuskarawaz64@...] Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 2010 2:21 PM CML Subject: [ ] Gas Good Afternoon!! I have a question. There are a lot of 'bugs' going around. I have been down for about 5 days with fever and chills, vomited x2 during that time....and lots of body aches. Something to consider. C. Guest guest
Jo-Dee, Often when we start eating healthier we are eating more fruits and vegetables. Some vegetables (especially increased dose) can contribute to gas.You may have more gas until your body adjusts to the increase in vegetables. You might try adding them in a little slower and see if the side effects ease some..Might also be a bug of some sort and might need a Dr to look at you..Good luck. Guest guest
> > > > I'm starting again, after falling off the wagon. Ramping up on the supplements and easing into the food regime. > > I have an embarrassing question. I seem to wake up in the morning with a lot of gas. Like a lot. It doesn't feel like undigested food. But more like pure gas that built up in my belly and I'm letting out. Does that make sense? Could it be some kind of bacteria? The candida itself causing this? +++Hi Ann, Humans do not have enzymes that break down the cell walls of plant foods/carbs, which is the fiber called cellulose. So those fibers end up undigested in the large intestines. In order to break them down (digest them) the large intestines must create lots of bacteria, like herbivores do, i.e. cows who have 4 stomachs and chew their cud, in order to ferment them. This turns the large intestines into a fermentation pot, which produces gas and bloating. This is what also causes digestion problems. Also nutrients in carbs are locked behind their cell walls (fiber) so they are more available to us if we prepare them properly beforehand. This is done by either fermenting them, like sauerkraut is, or by cooking them well enough - see this article to understand: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/veg3.php So you will find a big difference if you have only well-cooked carbs. You may also have to cook your spices too. All the best, Bee
