Guest guest
> I am not undetectable yet, but close enough and have been on Ariad since April 13, of last year. I love this drug, the 2 hr before and after fast gets a bit tough as I love to eat, but it sure beats the nausea of Gleevec. As wonderful a drug as Gleevec is, it is great that we are going to be able to add another drug to the alternatives. Continued good luck, love, Bobby __________________________ Hi Bobby, Have you been " Gee Gee-ing " it up? I saw mention on this list that Jerry M. had just joined an Ariad Trial? Do you know if there is a new trial running and what the requirements, etc are? Can you find out anything. We (Dr. D and I) are throwing in the towel for me with Sprycel. I have had 3 nuisance episodes of pleural effusion since Sept. even with lowering the dose, etc. So the plan is to start Tasigna once this episode resolves........but I would also like to know if Ariad is an option for me???? Or have you heard when it might make any steps closer to approval? Thanks for any info you can provide. C.
