Guest guest
Hi , I know what you mean about not losing weight when you lose your appetite for awhile. I was frustrated by that, too. As I reported the other day, it's taken 5 weeks for me to lose 5 lousy pounds! And I've been dieting consistently all that time -- 1,000 calories or even less per day. So, I think it's going to take us time to lose our Gleevec and Sprycel weight. I just hope I can continue to take it off. I'll weigh again at the 3-month mark when I see my onc. I don't have any answers for the stomach cramping but I do know my way around the weight problem. Feel better, Virginia [ ] Stomach Cramping Hi: I have not been on due to not feeling good. Has anyone had bad stomach cramping from their Gleevec. Its a constant problem for me. I do have Diverticulosis, but I have had a few bad weeks with pain. I even thought maybe Gallbladder. I am so tired of running for every kind of test they can think of, and was just hoping I would feel better. I am sure others have felt like this too. I saw the weight gain issue being brought up too. Yes, I have had that with the Gleevec. Also emotional eating. Now sick and not eating, and still not losing weight. I have to get back on here and follow topics more closely. A. Guest guest
> Hi: Thanks for your response. I know most of my weight is just emotional eating, and then the Gleevec has added to it. I am trying to drink my water to keep myself flushed out. I also have a kidney problem, and drinking my water keeps my numbers in the normal range with the kidneys. So many things we deal with in addition to our CML, but I have to stop and tell myself that I Am Still Here!!! It all gets so frustrating, and I know I am not alone.
