I see that Dr. Neil Shah will be speaking in Montreal and Toronto next week.

Here's some information that came from The CML Society of Canada...if you're

close, it looks to be well worth the time...and it is of no cost to patients and

family members.

The CML Society of Canada is excited to announce the Dr. Shah Canadian Speaker

The CML Society of Canada invites all CML patients, their Doctors, family and

friends to attend a talk by Dr. Neil Shah, a world-renowned CML specialist.

Questions from patients are welcomed.

Dr. Shah is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Haematology and Oncology

for the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco

School of Medicine. Dr. Shah has been instrumental in CML research directed to

improve outcomes with kinase inhibitors. His ongoing research is directed to

optimizing the timing of targeted therapy and optimizing the treatment outcomes

with targeted therapies by using biomarkers and defining mechanisms of cell

death in response to kinase inhibitors.

Dr. Shah will be speaking in Montreal on April 28th at 5:30 p.m. at McGill

University, Leacock Building, Room 26 and is co-hosted by Dr. Pierre Laneuville,

Associate Professor (GFT-U) in the Department of Medicine and Oncology at McGill

University.

Dr. Shah will be speaking

in Toronto on April 29thth at 5:30 p.m. at The Hyatt Regency on King Street,

Toronto Ont.

All CML patients, their doctors, family and friends are invited to attend, free
