Need some help with lab results

Hi - I was wondering if anyone could help me with some lab results I

just got for my 11 yr old daughter. They did immunoglobulins and T

cell flow cytometry.

The total IgG was fine, but Subclass 1 and 2 were 'slightly low' the

doc said. My paperwork doesn't have a reference range and I can't

seem to find one anywhere either. Her IgG1 was 405 mg/dL and her IgG2

was 134 mg/dL. Those were the only two things flagged low on that

part of the study.

Under flow cytometry, it said her T cell helper CD4% was 46% and her

T cell helper CD4# was 1352.0/mcL. This was flagged as high.

Can anyone explain the T cell thing to me? And how are these numbers?

The Pulmo doc ran the numbers and said it was 'not concerning' unless

she has a number of infections this winter, and then they would

decide if something should be done for her. (Never mind that last

winter was awful and included several hospitalizations!!)

She is currently on 3 weeks of IV abx for a severe sinus infection,

and has chronic coughing, tracheomalacia...etc. along with multiple

health issues and mito. She cannot take abx orally due to severe

allergic and gut reactions.

I guess I am not sure exactly how much more she needs to go through

before it would be considered to be 'concerning' to the docs. From

you experienced veterans, am I being taken for a ride and what should

I push for?

thanks!
