Guest guest
can someone please tell me what the treatment is for h.pylori bacterial infection( would also like info on H. Pylori). we had to have the titers drawn 3 weeks ago. He also had a stoll study & it showed up in both. Our Pediatrician called this afternoon to tell me it was definitly positive in the blood!! The stools was confirmed after doing the cultures. He is scheduled to have a CT Scan on his abdomin. He has suddenly gained 30 lbs. in one month and is extreamly puffy(I thought it might be a sinus infection, but the Dr. was concerned about the face, neck chest & arms puffiness & did not think it was sinus. She said there has to be a reason for the weight gain and the fact he is NOT eating anything in the AM & has cut back a lot on the meals through the days. He says he is afraid eating will cause him hurt in the stomach & then he will be on the toilet all day!!! So he has his CT Scan on Tuesday, sept 9th. We also discovered Blake has 2 variant forms of Mitochondria disorders. he also has a genetic positive testing for swchwachman diamond Bodine Syndrome. As these were discovered(shockingly so....) they also found 2 mutations for the MTHFR as well as the G20210A mutations for Blood clotting disorder. It was discovered by accident that he has what is called homocysteine(showed up in the urine) as well as his clotting factors(3 & 10) & Protein C & S being extremely low They have not decieded to put him back on the blood thinners in light of the H. pylori. if any one can give me info...i will greatly appreciate it!!! Thank YOU!!!! Mom to Blake S.
