Guest guest
Grouply also dissolves groups once they harvest all the information..the group is there one day and gone the next. If anyone from Grouply invites you to join Grouply please report it to the mod or list owner of your group. I've posted about this problem in the past, and your reminders sent me to the members list where I found one grouply member and deleted them with a note. This is also a reminder to the moderators to not approve anyone with a grouply address. I have all the archives files and links backed up - oh, photos too - so we can just start somewhere else if that grouply business ever affected us. -- Sincerely, Anya Anya's Garden http://AnyasGarden.com - perfumes, aromatics, classes, consultation Natural Perfumers Guild + blog with daily updates http://NaturalPerfumersGuild.blogspot.com 1600+ member Natural Perfumery group - http://health./group//
Guest guest
Hi everyone - I received a message claiming that a member of the Group wanted to connect with me through Grouply. You may get something similar. Fortunately I'm familiar with Grouply due to problems in a Group I help manage. We researched Grouply and decided that the risks in being connected to it weren't worth it. I would also recommend the same on an individual level. Here's some of the information we received. Pat from Phoenix Grouply is under serious scrutiny (appalled scrutiny) by list owners for a wide variety of security and list violation reasons. It IS a problem that they require your ID and password - anyone who's been on the internet for more than three seconds knows not to give out that information to anyone who asks for it uninvited and to look askance at anyone who does. Many list owners are banning/removing people who access their lists through Grouply, and are working with the Grouply founders to fix the serious security problems that were discovered by list owners testing the system out of necessity because their lists' integrity was being compromised. The problems are legion. I, for one, as a responsible list owner, won't be allowing Grouply members to be on my lists until all the problems are satisfactorily resolved.
