Guest guest
He's on gel. TRT ill reduce testicle size in most men. Also your Prolactin is high this and your low LH looks like a Pituitary Problem you should have an MRI done to rule out a tumor. Also you need your Estradiol tested first if this is very high it can be why your LH is low. But it is to late to check your LH again when you get Estradiol down because your on the gel and this will keep your LH levels down. So you could do a HCG Stim. test read this link from the AACE Guildlines. > http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf > This link is about high Estradiol and low T in men. > http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 > This link is a good read about low t in men. > http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html > > I can't for the life of me figure out why Dr.'s Endo's don't do more testing to find out why a man has low T levels. They just put you on Testosterone and then it's to late to do most testing. Even coming off T meds you don't know what is going on because you never go back to how you were before T meds. > > >biceps72 <no_reply > wrote: PLEASE EXCUSE ME, i am new to this board although i posted 1 thread >recently. > >I am a 57 year old male in good health that was recently diagnosed >with primary testicular failure. Guest guest
Hi, Wanted to ask if anyone experienced their childs labs staying the same. I have noticed my son getting much better, but HHV6/CMV/Mcoplasmas pneumonia staying elevated. I compared labs from a year or more ago and they are basically the same. We are on Diflucan/Celexa/Immunovir/Famvir. Dr. G wants to give ERY-PED but the interactions I am concerned about. Any help is appreciated. I would expect to see some improvement in lab results. Same lab used always. Thanks Noel

Guest guest
I can't speak to the labs, but Dr. G has me on Famvir, Diflucan and Ery-Ped and I've experienced no adverse reactions. It's been almost a month. Guest guest
Hi, The Gliadin antibodies are normal, which is great. What Dr G believes highly elevated antibodies suggest inflammatory bowel issues, not really gluten intolerance, except when there are a combination of high readings on a couple of different labs like what is found in celiac disease So absence of high antibodies is good, and doesn't really indicate whether or not there is gluten intolerance, which the majority of our kids are fine w/refined wheat products in limited amounts thank goodness. Restricting diet is hard enough without having to be militant about gluten. 's Gliadin antibodies were IGA 17, IGG 18. The reference is normal <20. I was wondering if Dr G would consider these high and have a intolerance. His IGM 121( 27-107) high, Iga 81(19-223) IgE 4 (0-75) IgG 914 ( 402-1223) All normal except IgM. I read he said there is a pattern. Any input would be great while Im waiting to see him
Guest guest
Just to let you know what's going on. I had labs today here at home and my hemoglobin has fallen to 7.1. Guest guest
No, I quit taking iron because the PA told me that it wasn't doing any good and that my iron levels were normal. Some test they did checked out ok. I don't receive Aranesp anymore either since it didn't seem to change my hemoglobin either. That was 6-9 months ago and my hgb was stable at 9 or 10. The difference, I feel, is staying on the drug even though it's only 10 mg. When I was taking the 15 mg I was on break every other cycle so my counts had time to recover. My counts just can't handle the drug. Dr Cortes thinks it's the disease, not the drug. So we will be reevaluting the disease level after my BMA May 19th and switch drugs or BMT. I'm keeping positive thoughts that the disease will not progress before then. I feel great!!! Took the dogs for a long walk around the farm without almost passing out. I hate that feeling. The pounding in my left ear has gone away too. So yep, it worked it's magic. I'm going to ask Dr Cortes about starting iron again. What can it hurt?!
