Guest guest
Hi Sue: My situation is not that ordinary. It started with me having a slight elevation in my kidney functions, and I was referred to a specialist. Since the 80's I had a high normal Calcium level, and a low phosphorus. None of my doctors ever addressed the situation. When I went to see the specialist due to the abnormal numbers, he ran every test he could think of on me. I am also Diabetic. There are a lot of factors causing my kidneys to go crazy like this. They sent me for 2 Parathyroid Scans, and they came back normal. He feels now that its from the Diabetes. They watch my PTH (parathyroid hormone level), and my BUN CREATNINE ETC.    I am due for my blood tests and appointment with him shortly to see how things are going. If I drink lots of water, which I think is odd. Then my numbers are all normal, and my PTH is always high. They keep an eye on the PTH.   I would be glad to give anyone any information that I can. It has nothing to do with my CML.
