Hi all,

I hope that you are all doing well and winning this battle against CML..

Today (sunday) Zina had her bone marrow biopsy taken for PCR test, she is used

for 3 month test interval, once for Blood PCR and the other is for bone marrow.

I asked her doctor before three months about the possible effect of Gleevic on

her body growing as we noticed that she is not gaining wight and hight the

normal like her friends, and he said today that it is possible that Gleevic is

doing some growth interruptions as he noticed that on a nother patient....if you

can please advise about that.

She continued to have Negative PCR results and i hope she will continue this

time and the times to come.

I also asked he doc about the gleevic + tyfl trial and he promissed to check and

return back to me.

Zina is now 9 years old, 27 Kg weight and 128 cm hight, 250mg daily gleevic and

shows no noticeable side effects.

We think that we should continue with the drug treatment hoping that a cure is

on the way other than the transplantation...Her doc respects this and says that

the choice is between a transpalantation that hopefully ends the case or the

treatement that may cause some sycologoical effects on her when she grows as

then she may faces the side effects....
