Guest guest
Dear , I'm so sorry. Sometimes we get so busy going to dr appts the thought of one more test is exhausting. But it is a life saving test - I'm 50 and due for a colonoscopy. Dr Cortes wants me to wait for the platelets to recover, but after hearing your story, I will ask him again when I see him next Monday. So scary for you and your family, and all of us. That second cancer is just waiting to strike - sending prayers for you to find comfort in the days ahead. God Bless, Jackie S. My cousin just died yesterday. She had Multiple Myeloma, but did not die from this. She did not have a colonoscopy when she should have, (was going thru her second stem cell transplant) and just died of COLON CANCER!!! Please don't neglect the rest of your body because you are so wrapped up in your CML. Ladies, get your mammograms yearly, men, get your prostates checked and ALL of us should have colonoscopies on a regular basis. Please, please, don't neglect yourselves.
