Guest guest
FYI - Is your doctor doing this to you? Blue Cross of Texas is suing Pfizer, Pharmacia & Upjohn Pharmaceuticals for paying kickbacks to doctors. One of Blue Cross's claims is that doctors routinely prescribe unneeded drugs illegally for non-approved uses through the existing system of bribes. (How often does he discuss your diet with you?) In September of 2009, Pfizer settled a series of similar class action suits and paid $2.3 billion because of its unethical promotions of Lyrica (used to treat seizures), Bextra (used to treat pain and inflammation), and Geodon (used to treat depression and psychotic behavior). Doctors are doing a serious disservice to their patients and this kickback system should be eliminated. Sadly, the largest lobbying group in America is the American Medical Association (AMA). Members of Congress are willing participants in this scam and their acceptance of PAC donations from doctors and pharmaceuticals helps to insure your ill health. Guest guest
Hi Lottie, everytime my dr. gives me a free sample, his nurse writes what it is in a book, and how much she gives me, with the dates. Is this so they have a record so they know I have tried it?  Or, Is this so they can prove to the pharm. what they gave away so they can get a kick back? I always think, how nice , my nice doctor is trying to save me money! My eye dr. gave me a $25.00 coupon to use the first time I bought Restasis. I said, wow, how much is it? He smiled, and said he didn't know, the big BS'er. Well, it was almost $200. the first time I bought it, then it went down the next two times, but those drops sure are expensive. and guess what works better for chronic dry eyes? flax seed oil.......Bobby a ( Bobby ) Doyle, dob 12/17/29 DX 5/1995 Interferon 9 weeks/Hydroxyurea 5 years 02/2000 to 06/2002 Gleevec trial, OHSU 06/2002 Gleevec/Trisenox Trial, OHSU 06/2003 Gleevec/Zarnestra Trial, OHSU 04/2004 Sprycel Trial, MDACC, CCR in 10 months 04/2008 XL228 Trial, U of Mich. 01/2009 PCR 5.69 04/2009 Ariad Trial AP24534 09/2009 PCR 0.01 11/2009 PCR 0.034 02/2010 PCRU #840 Zavie's Zero Club From: Lottie Duthu <lotajam@...> Subject: [ ] Article by Cohen " CML " < > Date: Saturday, July 10, 2010, 2:06 AM  FYI - Is your doctor doing this to you? Guest guest
I've been told that 2,000mg is the therapeutic dose. So one pill twice a day should be enough. It has really helped me in many ways.
