Guest guest
Stan and others, I am getting concerned. My son is doing well on Valtrex. We have seen improvements during this time with socialization and many things but my concern is what I think is OCD Behaviors that we have never seen before. He is scripting alot but also uses speech very appropiately at times as well. He is also as of today shutting doors as well as putting on my shoes and if I take them off while sitting he has to put them back on, but not in an agitated manner but as if that the way it is supposed to be. He still seems very much to be having foggy times all day where he is unsure coognitively of what I am asking him to do. He talks to Dora and boots quite a bit. I tried to give GABA with minimal help but we are wearing ragged, of this. Something more seems to be going on he is definitely detoxing. I thought yeast and I ramped up the Candex along with the Diflucan. I don't know what to do.I Give activated charcoal??? Now I have hives myself and feeling a little exasperated. Stan, I also e-mailed you privately but I don't know if you got the message. Please help. The only thing that is keeping us going is the gains with the regression. He went swimming today and my husband taught him to kick his legs while being held to learn to swim. He is not unhappy but knows something is wrong. I feel helpless in watching him with this 30 days of highs and lows, when should I expect the end of the regression part. Since he has never had any symptoms of OCD or reptitive behaviors before, I don't know what to do. His issues were always in engagement, speech, and noticing imagery on walls which is why we can't get the label. Anyway thanks for listening to my ranting and any advice is appreciated in this roller caoster???? Selena PS Has anyone else notice socialization before speech?????
