Guest guest
Dear Bobby, As usual, you have hit the nail right squarely on the head. Nothing is ever right, but we keep moving on because we have to. You are so right about being better off than others. I wonder how some of them get through the day. I am so sorry to hear that about your son in law, but your family sticks together and you have to take credit for that is the way you raised them, perfect or not. I remember my mother toiling away, but when she looked at us, she had a smile on her face, so you knew you were never far from her thoughts. She never went anywhere, all she did was stay home and work. We lived near town and she would walk to the store and buy material, bundles at the time and she had to touch each piece, she had a feel for how it would sew. She worked magic with that old treadle sewing machine, until she got one of those fancy ones. We all have things to complain about; but here we can air out our dirty laundry and somehow we move on. I always wonder how some people manage and yet they hang in there. I have to say that there isn't much that I know of that keeps you down. You liven us up with your courage and stories. Continued good luck with your trial. Day by day, Lottie
