Guest guest
There's another way that seems easier to me - fewer movements - You highlight what you want to copy and hit control C on the keyboard. Then you put the cursor where you want to deposit what you highlighted and hit " control " V to leave it in the new place. I use this so often. Annette Okay, highlight the section you want to copy by placing the cursor right in front of it, then clicking and holding down as you move across, highlighting it. > > After you do that, go up to 'edit' on your menu bar and click. Go down and click on 'copy.' > > Then go to the place where you want to paste the section you just highlighted(you can open other programs or windows or do anything you want - it won't go away) and place your cursor there. > > Then go back up to 'edit' and click, and move down to 'paste.' Click on it, and it will appear there. > > > > ----- Original Message ----- From: shelly smiegal > Rheumatoid Arthritis > Sent: Thursday, May 20, 2004 3:03 PM > Subject: Re: Re: Important Information for all of us!!! > > > > Forgive me, but how to you copy and paste something? Guest guest
That is good Annette! Thanks. I never think to use those Control something commands. And the F buttons at the top of the keyboard are just for decoration here. Duh! But I do remember to use Control Enter to add the www and the .com to an address. Hugs, Jacy ~Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup. -----Original Message-----From: annette2ca [mailto:a.mckinnon@...]Sent: Saturday, May 22, 2004 06:02Rheumatoid Arthritis Subject: Re: Important Information for all of us!!!There's another way that seems easier to me - fewer movements - You highlight what you want to copy and hit control C on the keyboard.
