Guest guest
Dear Lottie Thankyou for including me on your list, I was diagnosed in October 1992 and had my transplant in march 1993. Wow that is a long time ago. There was no option but transplant for me, no-one mentioned interferon so the decision to have a transplant at that time was pretty straight forward, there really wasn't another option. I relapsed in 2004 and have now been taking Glivec for 6 years. It was hard to believe that a pill was going to give me remission again, but I have now been pcru for over 2 years, how lucky am I. What a great idea to give our new members a list of long term survivors, you and Zavie continue to be an inspiration to me. I've been in hospital with kidney stones this past week, not cml related I don't think, but am glad to say they have now been removed. I hope you continue to have success on your journey you certainly have had many challenges Judy Telford Melbourne Australia
