Guest guest
September, 2010 A report by the NHS Confederation's London Relations Programme published outlines the significant challenges faced by the capital's health service. It says tough decisions will need to be taken if London's healthcare is to continue to improve during the financial downturn. The paper Capital challenge: improving healthcare in London highlights particular issues around health inequalities and variation in the quality of services in the capital. It also says that large differences in the population's life expectancy and social and ethnic diversity, coupled with high rates of teen pregnancy, mental ill-health and population mobility, present their own set of challenges for London's healthcare services. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/199787.php __________________________________ Urgent Action Needed To Ensure UK Patients Get Their Medicines, UK Article dated Sept. 7, 2010 Main Category: Pharmacy / Pharmacist Also Included In: Pharma Industry / Biotech Industry http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/200175.php _________________________________________ Poor People Can Be Pushed Further Into Poverty By The Need To Buy Common Medicines Main Category: Health Insurance / Medical Insurance Also Included In: Pharma Industry / Biotech Industry; Public Health Article Date: 01 Sep 2010 http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/199571.php ______________________________ FYI, Lottie Duthu
