I spoke to Jackie tonight and she is very upbeat. She understands what she is

facing and is ready to start her battle with Lukie. I am hoping to be able to

see her next week. I will be leaving to go to MDACC to start the tests to see

if I am eligible for this trial.

Please hold all my emails until I return. I'll check in when I get back, but if

I get in, I will be making the trip to Houston every week for a while and then

once a month. I am so weary of this, getting off one trial to get into another.

It's like a vicious cycle.

Here is the information about the DCC 2036 trial:

Hi - Jackie has a Care Page through MD . You have to register with

them to be able to see her page. You can find the main website here:

Thanks for this info Pat.

I did get signed up, but still could not find a page for Jackie?

but I have an old and slow computer, and usually either it or I give up when

there are too many things to try.

Yes Lottie, please tell her that I am praying for her and to keep her great

attitude.  She is a very encouraging person to others who are struggling with

decisions and treatments.

I have an email from Jackie Schneider. She is having trouble with her vision.

The chemo caused her to have blurry vision. She also lost her taste buds, so she

doesn't feel like eating anything. When I hear anything, I will post it, but she

hasn't had the transplant just yet. She is still maintaining her good and

positive attitude. Can I tell her if you are praying for her? I will list your

names to her, I know she would like that from the group, so I can forward your

good wishes if you so desire.

Sure thing, Lottie, I pray for all my CML friends around the world every night,

but the BMTers top the prayer list. bobby

I cannot seem to connect to Jackie's site either Lottie, must be my lack of

knowledge???

To me it seems like such a short time that she started chemo, hard to believe

she has already been transplanted.  I'm sure it's like a life time to her

though, she is a very brave and courageous woman. Bobby
