Guest guest
Hi: I had a long-time recurring athletes foot problem. It got cured with VCO in a week. I applied liberal amount on it morning and evening. As maintenance, I apply VCO on my feet 1 to 2 times a week in the morning before I wear shoes. This problem completely gone for more than 2 years now. Guest guest
I make sure after washing my feet or shower that I use a hair dryer to make sure they are really dry,esp during the 'season' of summer. BUT not too hot as this makes your feet sweat again. So Low heat about a 400mm away so that its just above body temp. then VCO,but only a small amount. But thats if there are signs of a problem. For 9 months of the year,no problem, but if i dont dry them properly during the humidity,Im in serious trouble. I wear sandals as much as possible as well. Guest guest
, Is it possible that you need a fill? Also, remember, plateaus are very normal. All of us have them multiple times. Some will last longer than others. Since you have lost so much already, your body may have grown accustomed to the new eating habits you have established as well as the routine exercise you do. If you haven't already done it, perhaps it is time to re-evalute those areas too to sort of "trick" your body into that weight loss mode again. Cut back on what you are eating and crank up your exercise to a more stringent level. We constantly have to increase our exercise if we want to get more out of it. I don't know if all of this will work but this is basically what I find that I have to do. Guest guest
OMG you are cruisin on your weight loss! Wow you have lost 104 lbs in 10months and I see that you are in onederland!!! I am so freakin excited for you, and congrats on your accomplishment!!!. It almost seems like a record!! :-) Give your body some time to adjust, it is probably totally readjusting. Someone told me that when you loose that much weight that even your organs have to reposition to where to were supposed to be. I am just so proud of you, I cant believe it!! :-) I was just on a 4 week plateau, and I was so frustrated. I was working out really super hard and watching what I was eating. And finally my body gave way of pounds after not loosing for a month. It was so frustrating! But I was loosing inches, because my clothes are all huge on me. And then boom, I lost 10lbs. So, hang in there your body will release again!! :-) Just keep watching those cals and working out. I even took a week off of working out and I still lost. I was talking to a jenny Craig consultant (one of my clients) and she said that you have to do something to " shock " the body. and for me after working out like a maniac, I think not working out for a week shocked my body.? I dont know what else to tell you, because I Just went through it myself and I was banging my head on the wall trying to figure out when I would loose again!!!! But I eventually did. Do you have recent pics of you, cuz I want some pics!! :-) take care and keep us posted, especially if you find any new secrets about breaking plateaus!! :-) hugs, And again, I am so proud of you!!! :-) > > I am very proud of myself, I have lost 104lbs in 10 months, but I have > been plateaued for a month, what am I doing wrong? Guest guest
Oh so sorry, dear Heidi, Look I do really think you should go yo the emergency room URGENTLY and get checked out. It sounds like some acute brain inflammation, kind of encephalitis type picture?? A bit like can happen in Lyme disease rarely. It might be the autoimmune process flaring, viral ,like herpes simplex or a drug effect or interaction. Are you on a biologic? The hallucinations particularly should be taken as sign of brain irritation unless proven otherwise Think you were the one with another frightening symptom about a week back suggesting nerve inflammation. Guest guest
> > Hi there > > I am 24 and the beginning of this year I have had overwhelming sugar cravings and have gained a huge amount of weight from succumbing to it. At first I thought I was just indulging as I reintroduced sugar into my system as I went sugar and wheat free for all of last year as a means of losing weight. However in the last 6 weeks these cravings have become more intense.. sometimes I feel like a drug addict needing a hit. It's ridiculous. Hi Jess. Welcome to our group. Your cravings are very common for all candida sufferers, since candida feeds off of sugars/carbs which makes you crave them. We all understand what you are going through. <snip> > Anyhow up until the beginning of this year I was really fit (going to the gym nearly every day) and felt great. Now I am constantly tired (I can barely get out of bed), I get muscle cramps, My joints ache, I have acne (which I didn't even have as a teenager), itchy feet and skin (like I have bugs crawling underneath my skin), terrible night sweats, gas, bloating... the list of my symptoms goes on. I can pretty much tick off nearly every one on the Candida checklist. But worst of all I am severely depressed and for no reason. I feel like I don't want to leave my room and have even had suicidal thoughts. I really need to get out of this dark hole that I'm in. +++You can get out of the dark hole you are in by doing my candida program (diet plus supplements), which provide your body with what it needs to build up your immune system, which is he only way candida is cured. > > I had never heard of Candida before and only came passed it a few days ago when I started researching my symptoms. I have blood tests booked in a couple days to check other possibilities but from all my research this Candida thing seems the most likely culprit. +++There are no tests that can confirm the presence of candida - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro3.php >Since I've read that western doctors don't support the Candida diagnoses who do I go to for help with finding the appropriate medicines? +++There is no one that has success treating candida like this program, because doctors, nutritionists, naturopaths and other holistic practitioners believe you can cure candida by killing it off, but it doesn't work that way. Like I said above, candida is only cured by building up the immune system, mainly with proper nutrients (my diet plus supplements). > > I know the main part of this treatment is diet. And I plan to start it tomorrow. But like I said my sugar cravings are extremely intense and I know the detox is going to be very difficult. Is there anything I can take to help with this? +++Be sure to change over to this diet slowly - follow Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php > > Has anyone else experienced what I'm going through? I just feel so alone and like I'm going a bit crazy. Would love to hear from you. +++We have all experienced what you are going through, except I cured my candida over 20 years ago. You are definitely not alone my friend. We are here to help and support you. You can't go wrong following Nature's Fundamental Laws on health so your body is able to heal itself naturally. Guest guest
You sound just like me!!! I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. It's an extremely difficult battle!! You can win, though! Start slow....don't cut everything out of your diet all at once. That almost never works. Start out slowly, first losing grains, then sugar, then cheese, then nuts, etc...go at your own pace! It isn't a race...you'll get there when you get there. Every time you find yourself wanting to eat something you shouldn't, ask yourself if this is a healthy food? Is this going to make you feel good or bad?? Then tell yourself it's just food and think about how much better you'll feel about yourself when you treat your body well but eating something GOOD for you. I cannot stress enough how important coconut oil is in your diet! I have a smoothie for breakfast five times a week and it really helps curb those cravings early in the day! I make my egg smoothie with alcohol free coffee and vanilla extract. Tastes a lot like a vanilla latte. There are ways to make things taste good without eating those over processed foods we crave, but are toxic to our bodies!! I completely understand the anxiety you have around food. Because this diet is so strict, one almost acquires anxiety like one with an eating disorder.... " this food is off limits! If I have one little piece I cannot contain myself and eat the entire container! " Right...? You must center yourself and get over your fear of losing control around food. Remember, you are in control of your life! You can make conscious decisions to become healthy! You'll find that you have so much inner strength. Much more than you've ever imagined. Just remember to breathe! I used to think of Candida like an enemy and I hated it, which in turn made me hate myself. I've recently decided to befriend it and actually have compassion towards it...thinking about it as a living organism which is struggling to survive. I am sad that I have to kill it, but that's the way of the world. I know that sounds completely crazy, but it's actually worked!! I've managed to make peace with myself and in return my body is responding much more to treatment! You CAN do it! As far as finding a doctor, good luck....I've yet to see a doctor who believes in Candidiasis. I've been waiting to see a local holistic doctor since October and FINALLY got an appointment to see her in mid July. I'm lucky enough to live in Northern California where people lean towards alternative healing. Ask people in your area...anybody you know. If you work in a public place, ask your customers. You are not alone. Don't forget that! We're all here to help! Giving up won't solve anything. Just means you've lost the battle. Stay strong! Good luck! I wish you the very best. -Sascha > > Hi there > > I am 24 and the beginning of this year I have had overwhelming sugar cravings and have gained a huge amount of weight from succumbing to it. However in the last 6 weeks these cravings have become more intense.. sometimes I feel like a drug addict needing a hit. It's ridiculous. I even can feel myself getting irritable and shaky if I try and fight it. No one seems to understand how intense it is and after I go on a sugar binge I feel like crap. The urge to get sugar is so strong that it's like my brain and hand are disconnected whilst I'm shoveling cakes/chocolate/biscuits and bread into my mouth. It's just so hard because unlike a real drug addict this stuff is all around me. I don't even have any support at home with my family constantly filling up the cupboards and fridge with these sugary excuses for food. > > Anyhow up until the beginning of this year I was really fit (going to the gym nearly every day) and felt great. Guest guest
I am so freaked out after 3 mos on Tasigna my hair is falling out!!!!!!!!!! I noticed that the hair on my legs and under arms was not growing. My hair is fairly long, my thinking is, if its not growing and falling out, I am going to be bald. I am having nightmares about this. Did this happen to anyone else?? I also have a very itchy head. I am on 800 mg a day and I think it is too strong for me. I have told my Onc that when my BCR/ABL tests come back on Tues if I am at zero I intend to go down on this dosage he indicated that he didnt agree.... hm we will see. I was not yet on zero after 3 yrs on Gleevec hence the change (I know you dont agree with this Zavie) but my QOL was fairly poor too. My QOL is so improved although there have been ups and downs over these last 3 mos my fatigue level is much better. I also have sore eyes that are quite often yellowish. Should I have some sort of test done to test my levels of absorption (Lottie question). Love to all Donna Berry x

Guest guest
Hello, I have been on Tasigna a year now, and have had my share of side effects. I have noticed in the last 3 months losing loads of strands of hair at a time, thinning, and now hair totally stopped growing. I am 47, but losing your hair like this is very upsetting. I have always tried to take good care of my hair, and if we were on IV chemo this would be expected (also hard to deal with, I'm sure). I just starting to take vitamins for my hair, but haven't noticed a change yet. I baby my hair now. Use no more tangles and only comb it gently. Because of all my side effects, including this one I am considering switching to Spyrel...I just don't know. Your definitely not alone with this one. Last time it was delivered to me, it finally listed hair loss as a side effect. Let's keep in touch. Prayers to all. Connected by MOTOBLURâ„¢ on T-Mobile [ ] HELP!! Guest guest
I have the same dose, 400 mg. in the a.m. and 400 in the p.m. I have that itchy scalp -- it drives me crazy! -- but not the hair loss. I started out at a half-dose, then went up to the full dose a month later. Did you do likewise? I had some hair loss with Gleevec, body hair and also the hair on my head, although I have enough for five people so the loss was not discernible to anyone but me. At first everything was great on Tasigna. Then I got walloped with fatigue, nausea and headaches. That was about at the three-month point. I guess at this point it's been about six months, and I don't have the fatigue anymore, and only slight queasiness and occasional headaches. So maybe your hair loss will subside? I can definitely appreciate your panic! That's a big one to deal with. Very best of luck Donna -- let us know what happens.
