Does anyone know what the greatest length between zaps for any recipient

has been? I'm going for the record!

I tried to find out the same thing from my doc but he had a bloke who

didn't have a zap for 8 years so he had another EP study and had it

removed. I don't know if that counts though?

Thanks for asking about my mom. She is Stage 4. They are still doing tests and won't decide until next MONTH what they will do for treatment. She is not very strong at all, so can't withstand heavy-duty treatments.

Hi Sophia!

*hugs* right back to ya hon!

Things are okay here for now, just really busy and all.

Hope that you're doing okay. Just a thought, has anyone mentioned L-carnitine

and selenium to you all?? From what I understand, these, together with vitamin E

are sometimes used as a rescue protocol for liver disease/failure...

*hugs*

I think you are talking about Armour? I am taking

Unithroid and a time released T3. The T3 has made a

<<<I was thrilled that I only gained 1 pound this week after all I ate on my road trip to Dallas>>>

I'm not sure the damage I did - it looks like maybe 1-2 pounds but I need a day to double check - I did well with my water except for the 2 traveling days, so today will be flushing my system out and AF is on the horizon arg! Food wasn't awful and we shopped all day Monday (poor feet but sooo proud of me - hours of shopping and I kept up (no waiting in the car when I was done shopping lol) and no complaining - I get bored shopping but not this time - I found a cute skirt for $3.

<<<It's supposed to get up to 82 today. Blech. It was in the 40s and rainy in Dallas but at least it felt like winter. I've had enough summer! :)>>>

ROTFLOL - I think that's part of the reason I headed to SC last week - it's been cold and rainy in IL and then the weatherman said 30% chance of snow and I'm just not ready - I like between 65-75. It wasn't really hot by my sister but it was great running around w/o a jacket for a few days <GBG>

Ann, I am not bilingual in anything, but I can usually figure things

out in spite of my lack of true knowlege. My first thought,

however, in reading this was: if he regresses any further he will

be in diapers! LOL!

Oh, yeah, Ann, I quickly figured it out, but for a second there was

I'm so glad to see that you are able to read and post, even if it is off the

point of considering a cochear implant. Have you ben to the Callier Center in

Dallas? Dr s there has a wonderful reputation.

Keep lurking as I know you will learn but we'd love to hear from you too.

Good for you Bobby- Wal-Mart without the scooter...

Well more good new is needed???::: My family and I just returned from a very pleasant trip to Death Valley where the wild flowers are gorgeous - so many varieties with all this rain! I have never seen anything like it - meadows of flowers and so much water in the valley. We bought a pick-up (Just for you Bobby: a Ford F-150 supercrew 5.4 Lariet) a few weeks ago, so we had to try it out. We rented a 26 foot camping trailer and pulled it almost 1,000 miles - a good test for the truck!! The truck was bought to pull a horse trailer, which we have yet to find. Also we have two girls turning 16 this month, so another vehicle will be needed!

So as you see life goes on and I go with it! I enjoy every day with my family.

We have baby lambs in the meadow at the moment as well. The girls will take them to Fair in the summer.... well except for the one which was brought into the house for her first three days of life - we actually nursed her back to life and she is being bottled fed - Daisy is her name and she is more like a dog!

Well life on the Ranch with teenagers is busy.......... but I love it.

Dang, Bobby, sounds like there are an awful lot of docs out there who don't

seem to care about their patients. I guess I've been lucky. I've only had

Hey Bob:

Glad to hear that you got rid of the scooter at Wallmart. New gas guzzler sounds great too. Enjoy it. Since I am in Jersey City now I can't have a pick up because it's a pain to park in the street. I would love to have one of those double cab pick up trucks. Have one beer for me too in bourbon st. will you?? In the mean time I am going to have a Thalium Stress Test this friday. Wish me luck. I don't exactly know how far they push you on the treadmill but as soon as i feel anything i am stopping. Because it took me a long time to get rid of the anxious feeling after getting zapped and I don't want to get back in to that feeling again. Anyway all is well here. Take Care. Welcome to , Judy!

You're question seems rather all-encompassing, in that I could probably

write a 300 page book in response to it! Do you have something specific

you want to know, that could be answered in a few minutes? :-)

Llinda, don't worry, things will turn out OK. My employer knew about the Hep from the day I found out myself & it made no difference to him. For a few months - 6 or more - I told everyone I came in contact with about it, I had a big case of verbal diarhea & no one seemed to care. My freinds accepted it, my enemies didn't give a shit.

You live in a small town, use this oppertunity to educate people about HCV, they'll listen to what you have to say(hopefully) Just one person listens & learns, you'll make the world a better place for everyone with HCV & who knows, if one person gets tested because of your story, it's all good - specially if they test positive.

We love you girl so if things get heavy, come & vent. You won't believe the downright stupid things people get in their brains about HCV. I had one person ask if it was " that kind of hepatitis that turns into AIDS?" I straightened her out & I feel good that I could.

Take care girl. Kiss the critters for me,

I sure am glad Deb left when she did... I cannot imagine that kind of rain or wind! When I was a kid we got caught in the tail end of a hurricane and I remember what that was like. What I see on the news is something else. I am also sure Deb is just fine!

I had my bi-annual DOT physical yesterday... I had forgotten the medical questions on the form I have to fill out and then goes back to the school. I had several Yes answers to various questions... BP problems in past, neck problems, lung problems, and liver disease... I didn't dare lie. The doc has to address each Yes to verify I am ok in his opinion. He wrote that BP is good at this time, my neck should not affect driving ability (pain is the killer there), I have COPD ok to drive, and I have Hepatitis C and am being treated at this time. Solo...

this may get interesting. Dumb, also known as the new boss, was gone after my physical so I stopped by the PO and bought a stamped envelope, the school should get it today. The ole HCV cat is out of its bag, I am out of the closet... now am waiting to see what they do, if anything. This is such a small community there are bound to be plenty of rumors in no time, sigh.

Jen, can sympathize about the stress... is an easy flip answer for a doc to tell you to eliminate. I am on overload with the stuff now. Just really tired of dangling and not knowing what will happen, guess I am just too used to thinking I am in charge of my destiny, lol.

Oh well... the good news is I have shot #5 on Thursday, only 4 more to go on tx!

Take care everyone,

Llinda
