Guest guest
Trader Joes is very reosonable in price! When I switched to organics last year, that's the first place I headed to! Their chicken, beef and fish, etc as well as all your vegies (organic) can be found there and the prices are right. They sell tea, organic milk, - you name it. Go check it out; you won't be sorry! Guest guest
Trader Joe's is the BEST! I'm always suprised when I talk about TJ's how people percieve that it is more expensive because it's smaller and has the feel of a specialty store. The truth is, it's sooooo much cheaper then anywhere else. Even the stuff they sell at normal grocery store, TJ's is always always cheaper. For example, I don't buy Brie cheese anywhere else because everywhere else it's $6.99/LB at least, at TJs its $3. The Ezekial bread everywhere else is over $3.00 at TJ's its $2.49. Plus the wine selection and price is incredible. They are known for their 3 buck chucks, which is a really good wine $2.99. joanie stewart <joanie_stew@...> wrote: have fun!!!!! Guest guest
Just check TJ's site and found they are opening two stores here. I live in a large city though and the first one set to open in Aug. is quite a drive....31 miles. No date listed on the other opening but just about 8-10 minutes from me. I'm psyched! I'm from up north originally and have difficult with the lack of options in the south. Been hearing about this market for years. Surprised I never went into one in all my trips to Cali. Can't wait. I'll def. be making the trip in Aug. until the other opens nearby. Thanks to all for letting me know about all the great merch. Guest guest
That's great that you'll be having a brand new Trader Joes; go on a day where you have lots of time to load up on all your organics and enjoy the adventure! It will be well worth it! I'm so happy I have a trader Joes about 5 minutes driving time from my house! Enjoy! Guest guest
I know you can get all kinds of speciality items for much cheaper and yes the cheese is so much better and less expensive than in the grocery stores. don't get me wrong, you can go nuts in there and buy everything and anything and it will really add up. But one doesn't have to go overboard. The wild salmon or any fish is really priced below grocery store prices for sure. Some of the organic meets are a bit more, but look at what you are getting. I only buy the chicken and turkey at TJs also sometimes I splurge on the beef but the flavor cannot be beat! They even had a 2 buck chuck for a while; didn't realize it went to 3 bucks. I'm thank ful to have tjs near by because any meats or food at the healthfood store is truly outrageous in price. We are fortunate to have a Trader Joes!
