Hi Dory,

It sounds like a good plan for you to try a different drug because of the side

effects you are having with Gleevec, when they compromise your quality of life.

I did not think they had trials open for Bosutinib.....Jerry M. thought it was a

good drug and he has a mutation. All of a sudden his pcr starting going up, so

they put him on a different trial drug....

BUT then they kind of figured out that his Rx for stomach acid (I think they are

called proton pumps?) was interferring with absorption of the drug. Some drugs

do need the stomach acid to absorb them.

If you start this drug, you can report back to us how it is going for you. Maybe

this is a new phase of the drug trial?
