Guest guest
Dear Vicki, We both have something in common, I can relate to your bout with c-diff. It actually took me a year to get over it. Now when they say " antibiotics " , I tell them to hold their horses, is this really necessary. The visiting nurse told me today to be sure and call her if I get green mucous and I asked what she would do and she said she would call the doctor for an antibiotic and I told her she wouldn't be hearing from me for that. They want to give you an antibiotic even for a virus and that is useless. The overuse of them has caused the superbugs and now there are new strains that do not respond to the newer drugs that were developed to combat them. We have just dug a hole for ourselves over this issue and I don't see the medical community intervening to stop the runaway train. xoxo Lottie Duthu
