Guest guest
Hi Lottie: It is getting so bad with these companies and what they are charging. I get my medications through Medco, and my Nexium is costing me $80.00 for a 3 month supply. I know some are paying much more, but its a burden for me with the $80.00. I am also on Benicar for my Blood Pressure, now they want me to switch or the cost will go up which I also pay $80.00 for 3 month supply. I have to get a form filled out so I can still get the Benicar as all my doctors want me to stay on it. It has been so good for my blood pressure, and its a kidney protecting drug. Then its the Gleevec and other meds for me and my husband. There was just a report on how Medco has made more money in the past year than ever before. Getting tired of being ripped off. We may have to look into something else to get our meds. Its pretty bad when you have to decide on drugs or food. I am sure there are many others that will agree with me. > > Dear Neal, > > For comparison, 40 mg. Nexium in the U.S. costs $494 for 90 pills. > At Global the cost is only $63. I order drugs for my husband when VA doesn't pay for them. I think there is a nominal shipping charge of $6.95. One package arrives from Holland the other comes from Germany just days apart. They are a reputable company and I find them very compatible to deal with. Did you know that 38% of all doctors in the U.S. are from India? We now see a growing number coming from the mid east, in fact when you look at the roster posted in the hospital, there are very few who are Americans, they are outnumbered by people from other countries. I also noted that a lot of the women from India were doctors or worked in nuclear medicine. Their names are as hard to pronounce as mine. LOL I am furnishing the website. Check them out for your other drugs, too. First check with WalMart, a lot of their generics are only $6, but you won't find generic Nexium. > > http://www.globalpharmacycanada.com/buy-generic/nexium-esomeprazole > > I get my husband's generic 4 Advair discus for $65.00 at Planet Drugs Direct. > For comparison, the cost for 3 in Canada is $163.00 > > http://www.planetdrugsdirect.com/Drugs/Advair-Diskus/1320/ > > FYI, > Lottie Duthu > >
Guest guest
Just a follow-up. I just checked my Benicar at Global, and it was $85.00 for the Generic 90 day supply. I will have to get the medical necessity form in to Medco instead. > > > > Dear Neal, > > > > For comparison, 40 mg. Nexium in the U.S. costs $494 for 90 pills. > > At Global the cost is only $63. Guest guest
Thanks for the tip. I have a $25 copay for name brands, which could be a lot worse, but $75 a month is still a good chunk of change. I try not to take my nausea meds unless I have to. Saves $50 a month, and I rarely notice any difference with the Nexium anyway. [ ] Canada Drugs Dear Neal, For comparison, 40 mg. Nexium in the U.S. costs $494 for 90 pills.
