Guest guest
Just a note to let you know that on Monday I had my second chemo. Two weeks before I had my first with a bearish week afterwards. Nausea for one day, uninterrupted diarrhea for a full 3 days. Finally, after that week was over I felt quite normal. Then Monday of this week I had my second set without any problems to speak of. Now I am just horribly weak and dead-tired and the 104+ degree heat doesn't help when I go outside even for a short time. So far my hair is hanging in there. How long? Don't know, but so far no loss at all. I will have two more sets of chemo, each time two weeks apart. I will have another CT scan in a week or so, to see if anything has changed. Dr. , my onc, wants us to go back to MDACC, but they are on my list right now, because of a call I received from one of their non-medical people who was short, curt, and unfriendly. Evidently, so I understand if you have more than one cancer, you can't be in a trial. Dr. Koller wants to meet with us as well, even though I have no problem with my PCRU. That's all I have to report right now. No news probably is good news! Margot
